Wondering how weather & AQI effect

Outdoor Bootcamp?

Here ya go!  This is how we roll...

TEMPERATURE: The cold never bothered us anyway!  Dress appropriately with layers if necessary.

Our workout ends before the day's heat begins, but always be prepared with hydration!  Cool post-workout towels are provided for you on the warmer days (YAY-bonus!).

PRECIPITATION: Unless you just flew in from Oz, you probably aren't the type to melt in the rain.  That said, participants will receive notification approximately an hour prior to class if we must cancel due to rain, or otherwise unsafe weather conditions such as hail, lightning, or murder hornets.

The workout is on an outdoor sport court with a specialized surface, so you will never get muddy.

However, the hard court can get a little slippery, so please wear shoes with grippy soles.

AQI: Smokey isn't just a slick dude with a fast car.  Participants will receive notification approximately an hour prior to class if we must cancel due to poor AQI. Even if it's obvious, I will touch base.  I go by purpleair.com Sensor Santa_Rosa_Protor_Heights, which I monitor on risky days beginning at 6am. A 150 reading or above cancels bootcamp automatically.  Of course, sometimes it is hovering for the hours before bootcamp.  On these days, I take a subjective survey on-site to help make the decision.  Participants who are not comfortable with AQI at lower levels are not charged as a no-show as long as the concern is communicated 30 minutes prior to start. Please reference Purple Air online, and not one of the apps that provide a single AQI for all of Santa Rosa.
